Prince Edward Island (PEI) Travel Programs - Overview

Hope Air has partnered with Health PEI to offer free Confederation Bridge or Northumberland Ferry passes for eligible PEI residents. This program is designed to assist those with a medical appointment covered and insured by Health PEI, who need to travel out of the province by vehicle. All applicants who receive the Bridge or Ferry pass will also receive a gas card. Hope Air offers flights for PEI patients who need to travel out of province to their medical appointment, flight availability is dependent on your destination.

Flights, accommodations and meal vouchers (subject to limites) are also available for relevant patients in PEI.

Please note:  A valid Out of Province Approval Letter from Health PEI letter is required to qualify for the Hope Air Bridge & Ferry pass and gas card. This must be attached to your application to ensure you have been approved to receive medical treatment out of province. If you have not received this letter, please contact Health PEI:
