Volunteer pilots typically operate within their home province, positioning to the departure airport, flying the client to their destination, and returning to their home airport. This localized approach maximizes pilot availability and ensures timely transportation for patients.  The Volunteer Pilot Program is available in most provinces across the country on designated routes, subject to pilot availability.
